It was a cold and dreary day in Idaho

This Friday in January was much of what it has been over the last three weeks here, cloudy and dreary. Australian Shepherds probably like this weather. They are herding dogs who push around livestock, sheep, cattle horses, and ducks.

Brownie had herding instincts even though she was half dachshund. A friend of ours who loved dogs would walk Brownie through the apartment complex we lived in.
