Mortimer and Brownie

Mortimer is Brownie’s father. He is a runaway dachshund who goes on a month-long journey to find his way back home. It is not a boring journey, but one filled with hunger, cold, fights with various creatures etc.

Brownie is Mortimer’s daughter. Her journey is filled with trial and trauma. She is searching for the safety of a “forever” family while Mortimer wants to return to his own home.

Hi, I'm Gregory Lamberty. I wrote "For the Love of Our Dog Brownie". Brownie was our dog. She lived eighteen and a half years. My wife Colleen took care of Brownie, trained her and took care of her. Colleen was the one who inspired me to write about Brownie. Colleen's training and love set Brownie apart from other dogs. That was what made her special.
