“But since you said yes, you must help Lauren,” Mom said.

Jack’s mouth dropped open. He stared at both Mom and Lauren.

Drew, Nathan and Connor enjoyed watching the battle Jack and Lauren. Being only six years old, Connor had all he could do not to laugh.

The Schmidt “school bus” made it home. The garage door was open, and Dad stood in the entrance waiting for Drew and Nathan. He needed their help in the barn. Everyone piled out of the van and invaded the house.

Hi, I'm Gregory Lamberty. I wrote "For the Love of Our Dog Brownie". Brownie was our dog. She lived eighteen and a half years. My wife Colleen took care of Brownie, trained her and took care of her. Colleen was the one who inspired me to write about Brownie. Colleen's training and love set Brownie apart from other dogs. That was what made her special.
